Leading pro-audio provider The Warehouse Sound Services has been inundated with sales requests following this year’s PLASA Focus Show in Leeds.

The company showcased an exclusive range of products from d&b audiotechnik, Audio-Technica, Sound Devices, EM Acoustics, Midas, Shure and RCF. The event provided the organisation a unique opportunity to exhibit some brand new products.

At the event, The Warehouse showcased a range of quality audio products from d&b audiotechnik. The Warehouse is d&b audiotechnik’s only sales partner in Scotland and the North of England, so PLASA Leeds provided a unique opportunity to showcase the d&b’s newest products including the four channel, two rack unit (2RU) amplifier: the D20 and the MAX2 wedge monitor.

The launch of the D20 has helped secure d&b’s position at the forefront of the touring and installation markets. The new amplifier features proven, intuitive user interfaces and offers fast, responsive remote control and monitoring via Ethernet through the Open Control Architecture (OCA) protocolFour amplifier channels in a 2RU lightweight package minimises the rack space required in installations as well as mobile applications and reduces transport costs.

The Warehouse also launched d&b’s MAX2 wedge monitor. The MAX2 is a flexible 15-inch stage monitor, which can be pole mounted on a d&b subwoofer and used as a small, full range system. The new MAX2 stage monitor from d&b audiotechnik provides clarity to performing artists in every genre.

The passive unit can be pole mounted on a d&b subwoofer and used as a small full range system or perform stage-monitoring duties as originally intended. Whatever the deployment, the MAX2’s high feedback stability and sound pressure level capabilities are combined with a remarkable vocal presence and sonic consistency.

Janet Murray, Sales Manager at the Warehouse Sound commented: “PLASA Focus Leeds is always a great event for us. It was amazing to showcase such a diverse range of new products alongside some of our partner brands. The products we showcased generated a huge amount of attention and we have already been inundated with sales enquiries following the event.”

The company also showcased the ground-breaking EPX-8 loudspeaker from EM Acoustics for the first time ever. The EPX-8 is a compact, powerful loudspeaker - based around the ever-popular EMS-81X. The EPX-8 is ideal for a wide range of applications ranging from small front-of-house duties to front fill and compact stage monitoring. The EPX-8 speaker created a massive buzz at the event.

Also demonstrated was Audio-Technica’s System 10 PRO Rack-Mount digital wireless system, the latest addition to the growing range of System 10 wireless options. Audio-Technica’s System 10 PRO Rack-Mount digital wireless system provides the same interference-free operation in the 2.4 GHz range (outside TV bands) as the original System 10 wireless system but with expanded features and versatility.

The durable half-rack chassis is equipped to house two receiver units that can be operated locally or released from the chassis and mounted remotely (up to 328 feet away) via Ethernet cable. Up to five chassis (10 receiver units) can be linked using the RJ12 cable included with each system, creating a stable, multichannel system with the simultaneous use of up to 10 channels.
