Brian Yeardley continental predict an eventful future in live event
The company has set its sights on the world of live event trucking under the brand of TRUCKINGBY Brian Yeardley.
Brian Yeardley Continental was nominated as finalists at the Motor Transport awards in 2014 for Haulier of the Year and in 2015 were nominated again for its striking livery in the same award ceremony for Livery of the year. In the company’s second year in live event trucking they have worked on many prestigious events such as Children in Need, The Pride of Britain awards, X Factor, The Rugby World Cup awards. It has also supplied its services to aid moving equipment around for festival and venues throughout the UK and Europe for bands such as U2, Elton John, The Scorpions, Mark Ronson, The Vamps & David Gilmore & Pink Floyd to name a few.
Yeardley’s have invested over £1.8 million in specialist equipment such as 26 new air low ride on full air suspension high security mega flat floor box trailers which carry their own loading ramp at the rear of the trailer and not under the side to speed up the loading process and an extra ten trucks have joined Yeardley’s high profile fleet taking the number of tractors to 53 a mix of mainly over 35 Mercedes low noise Euro 6 engined trucks allowing them into the heart of every environmentally friendly city in Europe.
The company are ISO 9001:2008 and FORS Transport for London accredited. The company has handpicked an elite team of tour drivers with a wealth of experience in both the music industry and corporate entertainment ensuring a friendly helpful quality reliable professional service and brand & image is maintained at all times.
TRUCKINGBY Brian Yeardley will move in early 2016 from Yeardley’s five acre site in Featherstone West Yorkshire home to its European General Cargo business to a new Live Events logistics centre which will include offices and parking for its events fleet plus 40,000 square foot of set and backline storage for its live events clients. The facility will be based on Production Park in South Kirkby near Doncaster which is also home to LS Live Studios & Brilliant Stages, the move will mean Yeardley’s new adventure will put them in the centre of a new Northern Power House of music & Live Events offering their services to the world’s biggest artists when they are touring in the UK and Europe.

2015 has seen the 40th anniversary of the business and on the 7 November the company held a black tie gala dinner for 400 guests at a hotel near Hull attended by clients & suppliers plus other guests from the transport industry from across Europe.
The evening was a huge success with the unveiling of the company’s new flag ship Ruby under a huge fire work display accompanied by music, the company raised £2,500.00 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance on the night & will double that amount as its Christmas donation to the charity which it has supported for a number of years.
