Avolites is one of the most widely respecting lighting control manufacturers in the live production industry. Their classic Pearl mixing desk has been developed into a number of variants - most recently the Pearl Tiger.
The first Pearl Tiger console on tour in the UK was put through its paces on the road by Colour Sound Experiment's Dave "Fletch" Fletcher, lighting designer for Ian Brown's "The World Is Yours" tour.
Avolite’s Pearl Tiger is the powerful, streamlined 30 channel, 10 roller playback channel younger sibling of the Pearl live lighting console. The desk is designed for programming small to medium sized shows with all the power, ease of use and versatility of a full sized Pearl. With expedient footprint, powerful functionality and familiar operating, the system is suited for small theatres, conferences, schools and colleges, tours, venues and nightclubs.
The Tiger is also fully show-compatible with existing Pearl units, meaning that shows can effortlessly be loaded and swapped between Avolite consoles. Meanwhile, the Tiger offers all the Pearl features: Theatre Playback, timecode, MIDI triggers, etc; 2,048 channels to 240 moving lights on four isolated DMX outputs; 10 playback submasters, expandable to 15 with external playback wing; full personality library in the console, with free updates on website; the ability to save multiple shows instantly to internal flash disk or external memory stick – and the ability to Load or Save any Pearl show. The Tiger is sized 67 x 48 x 14 x 30cm with VGA screen and weighs13 Kg. For distribution and dealer details, visit the Avolites website:
