Founded in 1971, White Light is now in its thirty-sixth year as one of the leading suppliers of lighting equipment to the entertainment and corporate-event industries.
Their heritage is in theatre: their first job was the transfer of The Rocky Horror Show from the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs to the Kings Road Theatre; even now, they regularly supply productions of the show.
WL also supply equipment to shows of all types and scales, including some of the biggest shows in the West End, on tour and elsewhere in the world. They continue to provide lighting designers with the latest tools and technology to realise their visions for a show, and to make that technology available to others working on smaller shows or to lower budgets.
White Light's work now spreads far beyond that reaching into every area where lighting is used as part of entertainment. Their sales team offer everything from a single sheet of colour to a complete lighting rig - including installation, if required. Their Service Engineers maintain and support dimmers, lighting desks and other equipment for theatres around the country either as required or through long-term service contracts.
White Light also offer a complete lighting service, where required, with their Corporate and Events Lighting Team offering anything from equipment rental to design, specification, installation, crewing and operation, including taking care of health and safety and risk assessment documentation.
White Light is a multi-faceted company employing over 100 people and with an annual turnover approaching £10million, that covers every area of entertainment and corporate event lighting.
